Eat Easy Terms of Use

Eat Easy offers this site, including all information, software, products and services available from this site or offered as part of or in conjunction with the Eat Easy website (the “site”), to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all of the terms, conditions, policies and notices stated here. Eat Easy reserves the right to make changes to these Terms of Use immediately by posting the changed Terms of Use in this location.

Your continued use of the site constitutes your agreement to all such terms, conditions and notices, and any changes to the Terms of Use made by Eat Easy.

The term “Eat Easy” or “us” or “we” refers to the owner of the site. The term “you” refers to the user or viewer of our site.

Use the site at your own risk.

Eat Easy content is aligned with SNAP-Ed, an evidence-based program that helps people make their SNAP dollars stretch, teaches them how to shop for and cook healthy meals, and lead physically active lifestyles. Medical nutrition therapy is part of healthcare delivery and may not be provided by SNAP-Ed. Any specialized dietary questions should be discussed with your healthcare provider.

This site is provided to you “as is,” without warranty of any kind either express or implied. Neither Eat Easy nor its employees, agents, third-party information providers, merchants, licensors or the like warrant that the site or its operation will be accurate, reliable, uninterrupted or error-free. No agent or representative has the authority to create any warranty regarding the site on behalf of Eat Easy. Eat Easy reserves the right to change or discontinue at any time any aspect or feature of the site.

By using the site, you represent and warrant that:

  • All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete;
  • You will maintain the accuracy of such information and promptly update such registration information as necessary;
  • You have the legal capacity and you agree to comply with these Terms of Use;
  • You are not under the age of 13;
  • You are not a minor in the jurisdiction in which you reside;
  • You will not access the site through automated or non-human means, whether through a bot, script, or otherwise;
  • You will not use the site for any illegal or unauthorized purpose;
  • Your use of the site will not violate any applicable law or regulation.

If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current, or incomplete, we have the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of the site (or any portion thereof).

Permitted use of the Eat Easy site

You must be over thirteen (13) years old in order to access the site and/or access any content provided by Eat Easy through use of the site (collectively, “services”), provide any personal information, or otherwise submit personal information through the services or site, including, but not limited to, your name or email address.

Eat Easy will make available to you certain services. The functionality or form of these services may change without prior notice to you. Eat Easy retains the right to expand or create limits on and related to use of the services in its sole discretion at any time with or without notice. Eat Easy may also impose limits on certain services or aspects of those services or restrict your access to parts or all of the services without notice or liability, pursuant to the terms of this agreement. Eat Easy may change, suspend, or discontinue any or all of the services at any time, including the availability of any feature, database, or content. For purpose of this agreement, “content” shall mean photos, postings, comments, messages, video, audio, images, illustrations, written posts, links, information, logos, tools, data, text, scripts, executable files, graphics, interactive features (collectively, “content”) to the extent the same is available on the site from time to time.

Prohibited use of Eat Easy services

Eat Easy wants to ensure that certain behaviors do not jeopardize our users, threaten our infrastructure or damage our community. As such, Eat Easy prohibits the following activities with respect to the use of its services and site:

  • You may not impersonate anyone or create a fake subscription name and email address;
  • You may not modify, adapt, sublicense, translate, sell, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any portion of the site or services;
  • You may not circumvent, disable, or otherwise interfere with security-related features of the site, including features that prevent or restrict the use or copying of any content or enforce limitations on the use of the site and/or the content contained therein;
  • You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, or convey any rights under this agreement to any third party, or otherwise commercially exploit or profit from the information or content provided by Eat Easy through the site or service, or any portion thereof, in any manner whatsoever;
  • You may not “frame” or “mirror” any part of the site without our prior written authorization; and
  • You may not use any robot, spider, site search/retrieval application, or other manual or automatic device or process to retrieve, index or “data mine” the site or in any way reproduce or circumvent the navigational structure or presentation of the site or its contents, authentication and security measures.
  • You may not use the site as part of any effort to compete with us or otherwise use the site and/or the content for any revenue-generating endeavor or commercial enterprise;
  • You may not attempt to bypass any measures of the site designed to prevent or restrict access to the site, or any portion of the site;
  • You may not harass, annoy, intimidate, or threaten any of our employees or agents engaged in providing any portion of the site to you;
  • You may not delete the copyright or other proprietary rights notice from any content;
  • You may not disparage, tarnish, or otherwise harm, in our opinion, us and/or the site.
  • You may not use the site in a manner inconsistent with any applicable laws or regulations.

Registration

You do not need to register with the Eat Easy site in order to navigate and explore the content. As a condition to using certain services or receiving certain updates, however, you may be required to enter your name, email address, or other information. You acknowledge and agree that all information provided to Eat Easy will be accurate, current and complete. Eat Easy reserves the right to terminate this agreement and your use of the site and services at any time in its sole discretion.

The content of the pages of this site is for your general information and use only. It is subject to change without notice.

Neither we nor any third parties provide any warranty or guarantee as to the accuracy, timeliness, performance, completeness or suitability of the information and materials found or offered on this site for any particular purpose.
